U.S. International University has received a $15-million long-term loan that will help the school erase some of its debt and help prevent a foreclosure on part of its San Diego campus.

Joe Salas, owner and operator of the Federal Home Loans Corp., which arranged the loan, said the money comes from a group of lenders.
