L.A. Building Industry Assn. Elects Keston as President

Michael Keston, president of Encino-based Larwin Co., has been elected next year’s president of the Greater Los Angeles Chapter of the Building Industry Assn. of Southern California.
Keston has worked for Larwin Co. since 1970. He has held a variety of posts with the builders’ trade group, including an 8-year stint as a member of its board of directors.
Keston replaces Richard Garber of First Nationwide Bank, who will remain on the local chapter’s board of directors. Also elected to serve in 1990 are Bill Rattazzi of Calprop Corp., first vice president; Harvey Steinberg, Inner City Planning & Development, vice president; Bill Lockert, W&A; Financial, vice president and Brian Catalde, Paragon Homes, vice president.
Bernard Weiss of Weiss Engineering & Development was elected secretary. Tak Fujii of Griffin Homes was named treasurer.
