New Crack Fuels Opposition to Garvey Reservoir
Metropolitan Water District of Southern California officials say they have almost remedied the flooding from the 41-acre Garvey Reservoir in Monterey Park, which damaged two homes on Fulton Drive.
But Monterey Park officials are continuing to oppose the reopening of the reservoir, particularly since a second crack near its base was found this week about 1,000 feet from the first one.
