Fatally Wounded Man Found in Pacoima
A 35-year-old man was fatally injured in a shooting early Sunday in Pacoima, Los Angeles police said.
Billy Warren Sanders of Lake View Terrace was found lying near Borden Avenue and Van Nuys Boulevard about 5 a.m., said Officer Robert Calzadillas.
Sanders had been shot once in the stomach and was taken to Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, where he died about 4 p.m., Calzadillas said.
Police had not uncovered a motive for the shooting and no arrests had been made, Calzadillas said.
