SAN CLEMENTE : Public Invited to Growth Discussion
Results of a yearlong growth-management study by a citizens committee that is recommending changes in city development policies is being discussed at a Planning Commission public hearing tonight.
Topics reviewed by the nine-person Growth Management Committee were emergency medical response, open space, schools, sewers, roads, water, libraries, parking, police and a new civic center.
Commissioners last month were introduced to the study and continued a public hearing until tonight. The 7 p.m. meeting at City Hall will be televised live on Dimension Cable Channel 3 and will be rebroadcast at 9 a.m. and noon Saturday.
