Picture Imperfect

I think I understand (sort of) the point of the “Hot Property” column.

After all, this is Los Angeles; lots of celebrities live here and there is some interest in reading the descriptions, the prices, etc., of whatever pieces of property various stars have just placed on the market.

What I don’t understand is why you illustrate the column, not with a picture of the property, but with a picture of the star. If I want to see a picture of Ed McMahon (another picture of Ed McMahon), I can go stand in the supermarket checkout line. A picture of Ed McMahon is not real estate news.

Show me the house that David Selznick built, or show me nothing.
