Perspectives on the ‘Divorce Wars’

Just a note to say thank you for your great article about nasty divorce.

For ourselves, our children and our society, my hope is that our over-indulged, belly-button-contemplating generation will stop long enough from spending on houses, cars, therapists and nutritionists and look at their lives.

The marriage vows, as old and as simplistic as they may appear, were written long before anyone had heard the words BMW, Rodeo Drive or Spago. To this day people long to repeat them in the company of family and friends. The only trick really is to remember them and keep them.
