Arctic Alaska Fisheries Corp. announced today its stock has been approved for listing on the New York Stock Exchange and will begin trading on the Big Board next Tuesday.

Arctic Alaska’s symbol remains “ICE.” The company has 16.5 million shares of common stock outstanding.

Arctic Alaska Fisheries Corp., which made its initial public offering of common stock in April, 1988, is the largest fishing and at-sea processing company in the United States. The company’s vessels operate year-round in the U.S. 200-mile zone off Alaska catching crab and Pacific bottom fish such as pollock, cod, red snapper and sole.

Arctic Alaska processes its catch both at sea on its large factory trawlers and at a Seattle plant focused on value-added products. The company sells a variety of seafood products under the Arctic Ice trademark in the United States, Japan and other export markets.
