CLOSE SHAVE: What with their stock dropping 18 points in the past 10 days, this has not been the season to be jolly for the Disney folks. . . . The latest controversy is a ban on facial hair for male employees at all attractions, including the Queen Mary in Long Beach, where the ship’s first officer has been suspended for refusing to shave his mustache. . . . Dana Rohrabacher, the bearded GOP congressman whose Orange County-L.A. district includes the attraction, calls it a private matter between Disney and its staff. Even, he noted, if the cleanshaven Dopey “is the only dwarf who (under the rules) can work for Disney.”
