Re Nina J. Easton’s Dec. 10 article, “Meryl Streep’s Latest Accent Is a Laugh”:
Several pages of publicity puffery for the American version of “She-Devil” were unwarranted. The BBC 1986 miniseries was witty, subtle and definitely more entertaining.
