Transamerica Sells Title Insurance Subsidiary: Transamerica Corp., San Francisco, said it has agreed to sell its title insurance subsidiary to Reliance Group Holdings Inc. for $65 million. Reliance, of New York, said the acquisition of Transamerica Title Insurance Co., with estimated 1989 revenue of $185 million, would strengthen its presence in the West and Midwest.
