Nadia Comaneci, the Olympic gymnast who defected to the United States last November, will return to Romania this spring to see her friends and family but will settle permanently in the West, her brother said.

Adrian Comaneci said she told him in a recent phone conversation that she would be coming back to Bucharest in April.
