Small Increase: Airline passenger arrivals and departures at John Wayne Airport increased to 372,432 in November, a 2% jump from the same month last year when the passenger traffic count was 365,033, according to airport officials.

Air carrier flight operations showed a 2.5% drop while commuter-airline, or air taxi, operations increased 14% when compared with the same period last year.

Total aircraft operations in November totaled 39,420, a 7.5% decline from the 42,617 recorded for that month in 1988.

General aviation activity accounted for 80% of total aircraft operations last month, but showed a 9.4% drop when compared to November, 1988.
