NEW YORK — Time Inc. Magazine Co. has exercised its option to acquire the remaining interest in Parenting magazine it did not already own, the company announced today. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Published in San Francisco, Parenting provides information for parents with children under age 11.
Robin Wolaner, Parenting’s founder and publisher, began the publication as a joint venture with Time Inc. Magazine Co. The monthly magazine made its debut in January, 1987, and has tripled its circulation to the current level of 600,000.
