American Airlines Had Best On-Time Record: The airline with the best on-time flight performance in November was American and the carrier with the worst on-time flight performance was USAir, the Transportation Department reported. The 12 largest U.S. carriers reported that 78% of their flights operated on time in November, below their 79.5% on-time performance in October. The department said consumers registered 1,125 complains against airlines in November, down from 1,143 in October.
