FNN, Lotus OK Deal

Financial News Network Inc. of Los Angeles said it purchased substantially all the assets and assumed the liabilities of Lotus Information Network Corp., a unit of Lotus Development Corp., for about $8.23 million.

In connection with the sale, Lotus Development agreed not to compete with Lotus Information for five years. Lotus Information distributes and delivers securities information via FM subcarriers.
