Mitchell Signs Deal With Bank in Carolinas

Spear Financial Services in Glendale said its James Mitchell & Co. unit reached an agreement to sell annuities and other investments to customers of Southern National Bank in North Carolina and South Carolina.

Mitchell specializes in selling such investments through financial institutions, and it has similar operations in California, Washington, Arizona and Tennessee. Spear also is a discount stock brokerage firm.
