Shooting in Argentina. “Funny Dirty Little War” director Hector Oliver helms this noir - ish tale of a down and out saxophonist who wanders down to Buenos Aires only to bump into an ex-lover. Mister Johnson (Michael Fitzgerald/Avenue). Shooting in Nigeria. Pierce Brosnan stars in this Bruce Beresford directed story of a Britisher who works closely with a black would-be bureaucrat as they struggle to build a road through undeveloped African territories. Rocky V (UA). Shooting in Philly and L.A. Sylvester Stallone and original “Rocky” director John Avildsen reteam for what may very well be the series finale. Stallone also writes the script that has Rocky Balboa, strickened by nagging injuries and training his ring successor, Tommy (Machine) Gunn who’s played by real heavyweight Tommy Morrison.
