Share

Shamrock Holdings in Burbank agreed to sell radio station KMGC-FM in Dallas for $22 million to Cooke Inlet Radio Partners, a broadcast-station operator based in Greenbelt, Md.

Shamrock, owned by the Roy E. Disney family, also said it expects to sell two other radio stations, KUDL-FM in Kansas City, Kan., and WHB-AM in Kansas City, Mo., and two television stations in Texas, KXXV-TV in Waco and KTAB-TV in Abilene.

Shamrock President Bill Clark said the sale of those four stations could bring about $30 million. He also said the proposed sales are part of Shamrock’s plan to reduce debt and provide cash to its owners.

The sales would leave Shamrock with one TV station and 12 radio stations, he said.
