Simmons Raises Lockheed Stake: Dallas investor Harold C. Simmons has boosted his stake in Lockheed to 17.9%, or 11.36 million shares, up from 15.8%. In a SEC filing, Simmons disclosed that he bought 659,800 Lockheed shares between Dec. 15 and Jan. 22 for $38.50 to $40 each. The largest block, 542,900 shares, was purchased Dec. 15 for $40 each. In an earlier filing, Simmons said that he may seek control of Lockheed but has no plan to do so.
