Ameritech: The Chicago-based parent of the Bell companies serving Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin posted earnings of $1.238 billion for fiscal 1989, up slightly from $1.237 billion in the previous year. Revenue was $10.2 billion, up slightly from $9.9 billion. The revenue growth reflects an increase of 430,000 customer lines.
