Chrysler Setting Up Joint Venture in Europe: The No. 3 auto maker said it would form a joint venture with an Austrian company to make a European version of the auto makers’ popular minivans beginning next year. The deal between Chrysler and Steyr-Daimler-Puch Fahrzeugtechnik is the second joint manufacturing venture between a European vehicle maker and Chrysler, which has no manufacturing plants on its own in Europe.
