Intel Joins With Japanese Firm: Santa Clara, Calif.-based Intel Corp. and NMB Semiconductor of Japan said they formed a joint venture to manufacture and sell DRAM (dynamic random access memory) chips. The partnership will combine the technical manufacturing expertise of NMBS and the strength of Intel’s worldwide sales and marketing channel, the firms said.
