Great Northern Nekoosa Corp.: The paper products firm said 1989 earnings dipped 6% from a year earlier to $321 million. Revenue rose 8% to $3.9 billion. The Norwalk, Conn., firm said increased paper-producing capacity affected the supply-demand balance in many of its markets. Fourth-quarter net income dropped 39% to $52 million. Revenue slipped slightly to $934 million. The quarterly results were reduced because of expenses related to Georgia-Pacific’s uninvited tender offer.
