Coast Savings Inc.: The parent of Coast Savings & Loan Assn. said it lost $74.2 million in 1989, contrasted with a $41.7-million profit in 1988. In the fourth quarter, net income totaled $6.2 million, down 35% from a year earlier. The Los Angeles firm attributed the annual loss to a previously announced restructuring program.
