‘Sweet Revenge’ Leaves Some With Sour Taste

Re “Oh Baby, a Sweet Bit of Revenge,” (Jan. 15): Aren’t there enough children who are products of emotional and physical abuse, of disrespect and dislike by their parents, of being told repeatedly that they are unwanted, unloved or no good? Do we need to read articles that, under the guise of humor, perpetrate these views?

I am sorry that Patt Morrison has never met a child who possessed a speck of decency, humanity or worth. Whatever her reasons for writing this piece, a newspaper is a public forum that should not be used for this type of catharsis. The front pages are already full of the atrocities visited upon the innocent.
