KARACHI, Pakistan — Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto gave birth Thursday to a girl, her second child. She is believed to be the first elected world leader to give birth while in office.
Bhutto, 36, is married to industrialist Asif Zardari. Their son, Bilawal, was born less than a month before the November, 1988, elections that brought Bhutto to power.
