World IN BRIEF : GUATEMALA : 6 Held in Slaying of Leftist Activists

Six Guatemalans have been arrested in the slaying of a leftist Salvadoran politician and a Guatemalan attorney, who were kidnaped and shot to death, police said. The bodies of Hector Oqueli Colindres, 45, the deputy secretary general of the leftist National Revolutionary Movement in El Salvador, and Guatemalan lawyer Gilda Flores were found Jan. 13 in Jalpatagua, 60 miles east of Guatemala City.
