Larkspur and Sunflower, two single-family developments by Woodcrest Development Inc., open today in the 325-acre planned community of Sycamore Canyon, in the hills of Anaheim.

First move-ins in both tracts are scheduled for March and April. The monthly association fee for each is $81 for maintenance of parks, green belts, hiking and equestrian trails.

The first phase of Larkspur consists of 13 three five-bedroom houses with 2,059 to 2,880 square feet in four two-story floor plans, priced from $285,900 to $374,900. The architect is Richardson/Nagy/Martin. The development will have 133 houses.

Sunflower’s first phase offers 17 of 151 three- and four-bedroom houses in four two-story plans, with 1,744 to 2,225 square feet, priced from $253,900 to $309,900. The houses are designed by Bassenian-Lagoni Architects.

Four models at Larkspur, decorated by Yeiser-Garland, are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at 8590 E. Canyon Vista Drive, reached from the southbound Weir Canyon Road exit of the Riverside (91) Freeway.

Four Sunflower models, decorated by Color Design Art, are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily next door, at 8608 E. Canyon Vista Drive.

Ventana in Lancaster

Ventana, a development of 82 two-, three- and four-bedroom single-family houses by West Venture Development Co., opens today in Lancaster. The first phase of 21 houses is priced from $124,950 to $139,950.

The development’s four floor plans offer from 1,390 to 1,696 square feet and feature two or three baths, ceramic-tile entries, vaulted ceilings, wood-burning fireplaces, air conditioning and oak kitchen cabinets. Move-ins are scheduled for October and November.

Four furnished models are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 601 Ivesbrook St., at the corner of Avenue I and 5th Street East, reached from the eastbound Avenue I exit of the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway.

16 Palmdale Homes

Vintage Court Estates, 16 semi-custom three- and four-bedroom single-family houses by Pannon Design and Development, opens today in Palmdale.

The houses, priced from $185,900 to $205,900, were designed by architect/builder Petar M. Laden, president of Pannon. The one- and two-story houses range in size from 2,000 to 2,335 square feet and feature formal living rooms, bonus rooms, master suites with sitting areas, roll-up metal garage doors and double-door entries. Move-ins are scheduled for mid-May.

The sales office is open daily, except Wednesday and Thursday, from 11 a.m. to dusk at the southwest corner of 25th Street East and Avenue R, reached from the Pearblossom Highway exit of the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway.
