MAUREEN O’CONNOR

I’ve enjoyed Los Angeles Times Magazine from its conception, but lately I’m beginning to wonder why. With “Making Sense of Maureen” you’ve once again slipped into politics , forsaking your otherwise cosmopolitan glance at California. I praise your addition to The Times, but where’s the need if the articles are subject matter for the Opinion page of the parent publication? Please, your magazine is needed to off-set the existential terror of living; leave politics for the front page.
