Daniel Wu has been named president of Wyse Technology, San Jose, upon completion of Channel International’s tender offer for Wyse. Wu has been executive vice president of Grand Pacific Petrochemical, based in Taiwan. Members of the new board are Morris Chang, Wyse chairman and CEO; Nelson Chang, chairman of China Management Systems Corp.; Jeffrey Koo, chairman of China Trust Co. Ltd.; Matthew Miau, chairman of Mitac International Corp., and Wu.
