Morris Out of L.A. Fest?: Dancer/choreographer Mark Morris and his Monnaie Dance Company of Brussels will not be participating in the 1990 Los Angeles Arts Festival, according to festival director Peter Sellars. Morris was never formally invited, but Sellars said Wednesday that “Mark Morris is a friend of mine and I want him to participate.” Additional sources of funding are being sought to bring Morris and company to Los Angeles for the festival, Sellars said.
