Bellflower : Residents Seek to Cut Drug Dealing on Eucalyptus Ave.

Bellflower residents and city officials will meet tonight to discuss ways to combat drug trafficking on Eucalyptus Avenue by limiting traffic flow along the street. The meeting is set for 5:30 p.m. at Bellflower City Hall, 16600 Civic Center Drive.
Residents for months have been complaining about drug trafficking in the area of Eucalyptus Avenue and Alondra Boulevard. At last week’s City Council meeting, they asked the council to consider installing a cul-de-sac at the north, south or center of Eucalyptus Avenue.
City staff has recommended eliminating southbound traffic on Eucalyptus Avenue from Alondra Boulevard by setting up barricades.
