Hilton Ruling Upheld: A federal judge in Nevada has upheld a $38.8-million judgment against Hilton Hotels Corp. in a wrongful discharge lawsuit filed by 37 former casino dealers who were fired by the company in 1983. U.S. District Judge Roger Foley denied all motions to set aside the verdict or reduce the amount of the award, according to John C. McCarthy, the plaintiffs’ attorney. Hilton said it will appeal the verdict.
