COSTA MESA : Police Seek Owners of 162 Stolen Bikes
Dozens of presumedly stolen bicycles will be displayed by Costa Mesa police Saturday in an attempt to reunite owners with their property.
Police said 162 bikes recently confiscated in a police raid will be on exhibit from 8 a.m. until noon at the Costa Mesa city yard at 2310 Placentia Ave.
A police spokesman said people who want to view the bikes must provide the name brand, color and serial number of their stolen bicycle. They added that any unclaimed bikes may be sold at a future date.
