SALES & USE TAX REVENUES--FISCAL YEAR COMPARISON

Orange County sales and use tax revenues for fiscal year 1988-’89 amounted to $271 million, nearly a 7 1/2% increase from the year before. The amount works out to about $119 per person in the county, although, as can be seen in the table below, some cities did much better than that:
