Software Toolworks Quarterly Earnings Soar

Software Toolworks Inc., a Chatsworth maker of games and other software for personal computers, said its earnings for the third quarter that ended Dec. 31 increased 163% to $1.67 million from $635,000 in the prior year. Revenues for the third quarter increased 56% to $6.06 million from $3.89 million a year before.

Nine-month earnings increased 170% to $3.87 million from $1.43 million a year earlier. Nine-month revenues were up 109% to $16 million from $7.66 million for the same period in 1988.
