Jacksonian Diplomacy: Janet Jackson says that the success of Paula Abdul, her former choreographer, hasn’t hurt their friendship. “I’m really happy for the success that she’s had,” Jackson says in a coming issue of Rolling Stone. “She’s a very ambitious girl and I know that’s something she wanted deep down. We’re all reaching for that same spot. I don’t feel that we’re really competitors, I guess because I know her and love her. She’s more like a sister than a competitor.”
