Morrison Knudsen Corp.: The mining, engineering, construction and rail systems business, reported 1989 record net income of $32.2 million, contrasted with a net loss of $127.1 million in 1988. Revenue climbed 16% to $2.2 billion. The Boise, Ida., company said the results signal its successful turnaround, that it is debt free and, because of its divestitures, that it is no longer burdened by unprofitable business lines.
