Bruce, not to worry. You’re not endangered. You’re not valueless. You are, however, guilty of trying to measure a human problem with a white yardstick.

What do you wish to gain by lumping me into a white group?

I’m frankly tired of being lumped into a racist category for the sake of my skin color. If you teach young black people that the white man is an oppressor, a racist, do I have a chance to win his trust?

I’m sorry for the Crusades. I’m sorry your ancestors were uprooted from Africa. I’m sorry Armenians were destroyed by the Turks. I’m sorry millions died by the hands of demonic fascists. I’m sorry for the millions of Cambodians who live in fear of mass genocide. I’m sorry that the human race has a history of destruction.

Racism is not a white problem. It’s a people problem, one in which talented, caring individuals may one day help each other eliminate.
