Wolf Could Be Out of UAL Deal: Union and company sources said UAL Chairman Stephen M. Wolf has joined the panel of UAL directors assigned to review buyout bids, reducing the likelihood that he will take part in an expected proposal by United Airlines employees. All three United unions--the Airline Pilots Assn., the Assn. of Flight Attendants and the International Assn. of Machinists--have indicated that they would rather not have Wolf at the helm of an employee-owned UAL.
