NATION : Red Cross Visits ‘POW’ Noriega

MIAMI —
Red Cross officials today talked with Manuel A. Noriega in federal prison, a visit allowed by the United States under its agreement to treat the deposed Panamanian leader as a prisoner of war.
All details of the visit will be kept strictly confidential, said International Committee of the Red Cross spokeswoman Ann Stingle in Washington.
