Old Murders Are ‘Special’ Cases
I really enjoyed the article by Ann Japenga, “Old Murders That Won’t Die” (Feb. 6).
She explored a topic that we’ve discussed in this department among the more veteran officers. (I’ve just finished my 19th year.) The consensus seemed to be that there are those cases that are “special” for each detective and seem to demand extra effort and long-term dedication.
