Bolar Accused of Fraud: The federal government accused generic drug maker Bolar Pharmaceutical Co. and its former President Robert Shulman of violating anti-fraud laws by making false and misleading statements to stockholders. Bolar, headquartered in Copiague, N.Y., is among a number of generic drug companies accused of submitting false data to win federal approval for generic drugs.
