Investor Sues Cummins: Industrial Equity (Pacific) Ltd., has sued the chairman and five members of Cummins Engine Co.’s board, accusing them of violating their fiduciary duties by attempting to prevent an outsider from acquiring more than 15% of Cummins’ stock. IEP, a San Diego County investment firm that owns 14.9% of the Indiana truck engine company, filed the suit Thursday in District Court in Indianapolis. (Filed Feb. 15, 1990 Case No. IP90-063-C)
