Chevron Discovers Oil Off Australia: Chevron Corp. and its partners have discovered oil in four locations off the coast of Australia, the company said at a meeting of securities analysts in New York. The company holds interests in four separate discoveries and a new producing oil field. Separately, Chevron said its operating unit in Papua New Guinea has proposed to file for a development license for its Iagifu/Hedinia and Agogo fields.
