Lambert Road, Brea Penalty: $60,000 Violation: Exceeded daily five-gallon limit of paint in its operation of spray paint booths (wood fixtures manufacturing and coating firm) Company: Midwest Coatings Inc. 570 W. Freedom Ave., Orange Penalty: $5,000 Violation: Failure to print information of hydrocarbon content on labels of paint-thinner containers (coatings manufacturer) Company: Armed Forces Reserve Center, California Military Department Los Alamitos Penalty: $3,000 Violation: Failure to obtain permits to operate equipment, excessive opacity in emissions from cleaning solvents, failure to maintain an episode monitor and a vapor recovery system for gasoline tanks, and failure to prevent vapor loss from underground fuel tanks (military base) Company: Parrott and Wright Construction Co. P.O. Box 280, Corona Penalty: $1,000 Violation: Failure to prevent the stirring of fugitive dust at a construction site in Orange (construction firm) Company: Chevron USA 1201 S. Beach Blvd., La Habra Penalty: $1,000 Violation: Failure to maintain vapor recovery systems on gasoline dispensing equipment (service station) Company: The Exhibit Place 12444 Knot St., Garden Grove Penalty: $1,000 Violation: Failure to obtain a permit to operate a silk-screening booth and exceeding limits on hydrocarbon emissions (designer of display sets)
