John M. Henske; Chemical Executive

John M. Henske, 66, former chairman of Olin Corp. and the Chemical Manufacturers Assn. Henske began his career with Stamford, Conn.-based Olin in 1969 as vice president of the Chemicals Group. He was elected president in 1973 and named to the additional post of chairman in 1980. He retired July 1, 1988. The Omaha, Neb., native came to Olin from Dow Chemical Co., where he had served on the Board of Directors and as a vice president. In Westport, Conn., on Tuesday of unannounced causes.
