SLEEK LOOK: To improve the view at the soon-to-open Richard M. Nixon Library, Yorba Linda city fathers have decided to foot half the $10,000 cost of underground utility lines at the site. . . . Explains Mayor Gene Wisner: “When you look across at the Nixon Library, over the reflecting pond, you see all these big poles. It’s unsightly.” Southern California Edison will pay the remainder for the undergrounding, which also will benefit four homes near the library as well as the house where Nixon was born in 1913. . . . The complex is to open this summer.
