MedClub Is Acquired by Oakland Company

SAN DIEGO — MedChoice Warehouse Club, an Oakland-based company that operates four medical warehouse stores, has acquired San Diego-based MedClub for an undisclosed price, the two privately held companies said Thursday.

MedChoice, which operates stores in the Bay Area, Orange County and Los Angeles, will close MedClub’s Van Nuys store but keep MedClub’s San Diego warehouse open, MedChoice founder and President Ted Morgan said Thursday.
